Public Transport
Getting around in Zurich is easy: Many locations are within walking distance, and public transport is very good. So we recommend you to rely on these two possibilities. You will have to buy a special ticket from the airport to the city center. In case you want to travel around in the city, you can buy day passes (“Tageskarten”) for the zone 110, the city center. The cost of a day pass is 8.80 CHF per 24 hours. You can use all kinds of public transport (i.e., tram, bus, ferry with an extra fee). The city center and our venue are located in the city center zone. Please note: Most of the ticket machines only accept coin money or credit cards, not notes.

From the airport to the venue
When you arrive at the airport, the best way to get to the city center is the train. It goes directly to the main train station (called “Zürich HB”, which stands for “Hauptbahnhof”). At the airport, you find signs to the trains; the platform is on the lowest floor. Most trains to the city center will stop at the main station. The train ride takes about 15 minutes. From the main station ("Zürich Hauptbahnhof”/Zürich HB”) the venue can be reached with tram No. 4 to "Höschgasse”. From there you can take bus No. 33 to "Botanischer Garten" or you can walk (it takes about 7 minutes).
Trains, buses and trams operate from 5 a.m. to 00:30 a.m. In the city standard intervals are 5 to 7 minutes on almost all lines. Quarters in the outskirts are still served at 7 to 15 minute intervals, including connections from and to the airport via train or tram.
For those of you who would like to stay for the weekend: There is an uninterrupted 24 hours night service on the weekends (additional one-time CHF 5 fare, intervals are 30-60 minutes).
Trips can also be planned conveniently using Google Maps or Mapsearch.
